Bae Young-whan’s Luxurious Miserable Insomnia and Lee Bul’s Untitled are being showcased in “What Flows What Remains,” Gyeonggi Museum of Modern Art.

Bringing together 125 works from the museum’s collection, the exhibition reflects on the museum’s past two decades while looking toward the future. Rather than remaining as works preserved in storage, the collection is presented as living art that continues to generate new meanings through encounters with audiences today.

Structured around five thematic questions, the exhibition explores where art and life intersect — from the origins of artistic creation to everyday landscapes, memory, solidarity, and practice.
